Mádi Mocorgás

This time, we’re setting off on a completely new route. We’ll be expanding our map a little and heading beyond the mountain ridge above Mád. If the weather is on our side, we may even catch a glimpse of Király Hill. The exact route will be adapted to the conditions this time: the valley is set, but the details will be decided by the weather.

The meeting point will be at Recepció Specialty Café, but from there we’ll continue by car and only put on our hiking boots at a more distant starting point. For this reason, we’re planning to use a car-sharing arrangement, so please coordinate with each other in advance about travelling if you can.

Our goal, as always, is to spend the hottest hours of the day in the forest, on shaded sections whenever possible. The current forecast looks promising, but of course we’re preparing with a Plan A, Plan B, and even a Plan C if needed — and we’ll inform you in good time if anything changes.

And the day doesn’t end after the hike! On the very same day, the summer event ZSENDÜLÉS A SZŐLŐBEN will take place at the Nőtelen House, with wines, dinner, music, and a true summer evening atmosphere waiting for everyone. If you feel like it, combine the two and enjoy your time in Mád!
